Bluebird Introduces New Semi-Rugged PDA, Pidion BM-170

Bluebirds Pidion BM-170 is equipped with enhanced imaging and communications technologies for connectivity and reliability.

The BM-170 allows companies in route accounting, parcel delivery, field services, healthcare, hospitality to better serve their customers with improved functionality in one device.

With a sleek yet rugged form factor, the Pidion BM-170 withstands multiple 1.5m drops to steel surface and operates within temperature range of -20??to 55?? The crack-resistant TouchWindow LCD provides substantial protection for the touch-sensitive display. 

3.5G HSDPA and GSM of the Pidion BM-170 ensure high speed voice and data communications, while WiFi supports reliable wireless data transmission. A-GPS enables field workers in transportation to find locations and make accurate deliveries by rapid tracking.

Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and powerful 806Mhz CPU provide the device with maximum computing power and improved system integration capablility. The Pidion BM-170 offers optional 3,200mAh extended battery, making it easy for workers to continue operation throughout their entire shifts.

Additionaly, the BM-170 supports various on-the-spot operations. Its easy-to-view 3.5" display with touch functionality allows for order taking, checking medical records, collecting digital signatures and more. An integrated 3.0 megapixel autofocus camera captures images for proof of condition.
