Ergonomic, Small Form Factor

With a weight of only 200 grams (7oz), EF400 is ergonomically designed for comfortable single-handed operation. The multi-touch display can be operated with fingertips, or gloves, and even works if they are wet. Sun glare protection improves the display’s readability in direct sunlight, and the anti-fingerprint coating protects it from smears.

Durable and Scratch Resistant

EF400’s compact, lightweight design incorporates Bluebird’s proprietary TankSmith® Technology with a 1.2 meter drop specification and an IP67 rating that means it is protected from water, dust, and dirt. The 4-inch, WVGA, multi-touch display made of Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 is exceptionally resistant to scratches and deep chips.

Multi-OS Support

EF400 supports multiple operating systems, including Android 5.1 Lollipop and Windows 10 IoT Mobile Enterprise.
In addition, Bluebird can assist with customization of the operating system to enhance security, simplify deployment, and reduce support costs.

From Barcodes to NFC

EF400 has a barcode scanner that rapidly reads 1D and 2D barcodes and it also supports near-field communication (NFC). In addition, EF400 has a 13 MP camera for taking pictures and capturing signatures.
